Hazare, who gained national prominence during the 2011 anti-corruption movement and has been a steadfast advocate for Right to Information activism, argued that accepting a minister’s resignation would demonstrate governmental strength rather than vulnerability.
The veteran activist’s correspondence, as reported by PTI, emphasized that such a decision would not weaken the administration’s position. On the contrary, Hazare suggested it would serve as a powerful reminder to all ministers about their obligations to the public and their respective portfolios.
If accountability is fixed and the resignation of a minister is taken, the government will not lose power. Rather, it will send a clear message to other ministers that if they do not discharge the responsibilities of their departments properly, they too will have to relinquish their posts. NEET Examination Issues and Student Welfare

The activist highlighted that allegations of question paper leaks and procedural irregularities have surfaced in both 2024 and 2026 editions of the examination.
