After receiving initial treatment, Jatin was transferred to Civil Hospital in Sector 6 for continued medical attention. He recounted that fellow travelers helped move both victims to the hospital, where he discovered that Sakshi had passed away from her wounds. The emotional toll of losing his cousin so suddenly has been difficult for Jatin to bear during his recovery.

He explained that a white car bearing registration number HR03Y6925 collided with their scooter while allegedly being driven negligently at excessive speed.
