One Dead, Two Injured in Delhi Flyover Collision
One dead 2 injured as bus rams – A private bus, reportedly traveling at high speed, collided with a taxi and three motorcycles during its descent on the Nand Nagri flyover in northeast Delhi on Wednesday night. The incident resulted in the death of a 27-year-old man and left at least two others with serious injuries.
Victims Admitted to Hospital
Local police confirmed that the injured individuals were rushed to Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital. DCP (northeast) Rahool Alwal noted that the Nand Nagri police station received reports of the accident around 9:30 pm.
“All victims were promptly taken to GTB Hospital. One motorcyclist, identified as Vinit, 27, was pronounced dead by medical staff. The other two injured, Rohit and Suraj, are currently receiving treatment,” stated DCP Alwal.
The driver of the bus fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle. Authorities have since filed a case against the perpetrator, according to police updates.
