Greater Noida Murder: Colleague Allegedly Kills Man Over Female Friend

Motive Behind the Fatal Attack

Bharatmorningnews.com – Police have revealed that a 40-year-old man met his death at the hands of his coworker in Greater Noida’s Sirsa locality. The killing occurred during the night between Thursday and Friday. According to initial investigations, the accused had maintained a connection with a female colleague for seven years. However, following a disagreement approximately six weeks prior, this woman started communicating with Suresh instead.

Authorities noted that all three individuals—the deceased, the suspect, and the woman—are married. An investigation into the matter is currently in progress.

The Incident Unfolds

Suresh, who resided in Sirsa village but was originally from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, was employed at a garment firm in Greater Noida. He received a call from his 33-year-old coworker requesting a meeting near the Sirsa roundabout to discuss certain matters.

During their exchange, tensions escalated into a heated verbal confrontation. Both parties began physically assaulting one another. The accused, who carried a sharp-edged cutter, struck Suresh several times.

“During the conversation, they got into a verbal argument and assaulted each other. The accused, who had brought a cutter with a sharp edge, attacked him multiple times,” said Pankaj Sharma, station house officer, Kasna.

Aftermath and Legal Action

Locals alerted authorities about the commotion. Emergency services transported both injured men to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, Suresh succumbed to his wounds while receiving medical care. He had suffered serious lacerations on his neck and stomach area.

The suspect also sustained significant cuts on his hands during the altercation. Police have taken him into custody and registered a case under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which pertains to murder charges.
