Congress Era of Falsehood Over, India Transforming Under Modi: Saini
Modi’s Governance Shifts Focus to Progress and Security
Congress era of falsehood over India – At a recent press conference commemorating the 12-year milestone of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini delivered a sharp critique of the Congress party. He argued that despite its 55-year rule, the opposition has failed to uplift the nation and instead perpetuated an era of misinformation.
Saini emphasized that Modi’s administration has ushered in a new phase of growth and stability, driven by principles of efficient governance and accelerated development. He highlighted significant changes in rural infrastructure, urban expansion, and national advancement, attributing these shifts to the Prime Minister’s decisive policies.
“The Congress’ deceptive political strategies have ended, and the nation is now on a path of genuine transformation,” Saini stated, noting the government’s efforts to bolster internal security through a robust counterterrorism initiative. He credited Modi’s leadership for advancing the vision of a Naxal-free India and maintaining national stability.
“The PM will continue to serve as the ‘pradhan sevak’ of the country even as he seeks a fourth term in 2029,” Saini added, underscoring how the central government’s strong resolve and focused policies have enabled the achievement of previously unattainable goals.
Women Empowerment as Central Pillar of Development
Saini praised the government’s emphasis on empowering women, citing landmark initiatives like the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam. This legislation ensures 33% reservation for women in parliamentary and state assembly seats, marking a historic step toward gender equality.
“The Lakhpati Didi campaign has already enabled over three crore women to gain financial independence, with a goal of empowering three crore more by 2030,” he said. Saini also highlighted the PM Matru Vandana Yojana, which has provided over ₹20,000 crore in aid to more than 7.3 crore expectant and nursing mothers.
“The increased presence of women in the armed forces, Sainik Schools, and the NDA’s overall approach reflect a true commitment to women’s empowerment,” Saini noted, linking these efforts to broader societal progress.
Targeted Programs Drive Economic and Social Change
Under Modi’s initiatives, Saini reported that over 32 crore women have gained access to banking services through the Jan Dhan Yojana, while 4.5 crore accounts have been opened under the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. In Haryana, the Lado Lakshmi Yojana has distributed ₹2,100 monthly to 9.89 lakh women, totaling ₹1,623 crore in support.
“LPG at ₹500 has benefited 14.42 lakh women, with ₹302 crore allocated to this cause,” he stated, illustrating how targeted policies have made tangible impacts on everyday lives. Saini concluded that Modi’s 12-year tenure exemplifies the power of clear leadership and prioritizing national interests to drive irreversible change.
