Unfortunately, the vehicle could not proceed further because the Utangan river had overflowed its banks. To reach the waiting ambulance, family members positioned a cot with the expectant mother on a large rubber tube and gently floated it across the rushing waters while walking beside it.

Once across, Keshwati was transported by ambulance to the Community Health Centre in Fatehabad, where she delivered a healthy baby boy. After being discharged on Thursday morning, the family faced the same challenge returning home. They once again relied on a cot placed on a rubber tube to carry both the mother and infant across the river.

Administrative Response
