CM Naidu Envisions Andhra and India as Global Leaders by 2047

Bharatmorningnews.com – Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of Andhra Pradesh addressed citizens on Saturday, urging collective efforts to position both the nation and the state at the forefront by the year 2047. The occasion marked the 80th anniversary of India's independence, celebrated in Amaravati.

Flag Hoisting and Parade Review

The celebrations commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag in Amaravati. Following this, the Chief Minister inspected the parade as part of the Independence Day festivities.

In a message shared on X, Naidu extended warm wishes to residents of Andhra Pradesh and Telugu communities globally. He acknowledged that the nation's liberty stemmed from the dedication and perseverance of numerous distinguished individuals.

Heartfelt greetings to the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telugu people worldwide on the 80th Independence Day celebrations. Our freedom is the result of the sacrifices and struggles of countless great souls.

Address at Nelapadu Parade Ground

Delivering his speech at the Parade Ground located in Nelapadu village within the newly established capital city, the Chief Minister reflected on the milestone. He noted that eight decades had passed since India gained sovereignty and encouraged citizens to aim for global leadership over the coming two decades.

Let's work towards making the country and the state number one by 2047…80 years ago we procured our independence and now let's work towards winning the world in the next 20 years.

Policy Alignment and Regional Development

Naidu emphasized that the vision for Viksit Bharat 2047 complements the SwarnaAndhra objectives. He explained that a robust state contributes to national progress, while a powerful nation strengthens the state's position.

Decentralized development remains central to the government's approach, with initiatives targeting comprehensive growth across all regions and empowerment of every community segment.

Central Support and Economic Progress

The TDP leader highlighted extensive assistance from the Union government for multiple projects, including the Polavaram Project, Vizag Steel Plant, and the establishment of the Visakhapatnam Railway Zone.

He reported that the state's economic expansion has accelerated to 11.3 percent, attributing this improvement to the current administration's efforts to restore momentum. Naidu also criticized the former YSRCP leadership for accumulating approximately ₹10 lakh crore in liabilities that became a financial strain.

Welfare Spending and Job Creation

Over a period of 26 months, the coalition administration allocated ₹1.56 lakh crore toward welfare programs and ₹1.34 lakh crore for developmental projects.

The Chief Minister announced that a comprehensive employment calendar featuring over 10,000 positions was unveiled this year. He further stated that investment agreements worth ₹24 lakh crore are expected to create 11 lakh employment opportunities, with ₹14 lakh crore already committed to projects.

Housing Initiatives

Naidu outlined an ambitious timeline to provide homes for every citizen by 2029. The administration is currently processing documentation for eligible residents who have occupied government lands for extended periods.

Concluding his remarks, the Chief Minister encouraged citizens to embrace the spirit of "That I am..." by focusing on their contributions to the nation rather than expecting the country to serve them. He described this mindset as the genuine honor paid to those who sacrificed for independence.
