Jasmine Sandlas faces backlash after Hyderabad show as fans claim she arrived 3 hours late, lip-synced
Jasmine Sandlas Sparks Controversy Over Hyderabad Concert Delays and Lip-Sync Accusations
Jasmine Sandlas faces backlash after Hyderabad - A recent concert by singer Jasmine Sandlas at Hyderabad's Quake Arena on June 27 has drawn widespread criticism, with fans expressing frustration over the event's timing and performance quality. Social media platforms have been flooded with complaints, many highlighting the artist's late arrival and alleged lip-syncing during the show.
Attendees' Disappointment Over Timing and Performance
Several attendees shared their experiences, with one fan writing, “I was a big fan of her but literally disappointed so much!! The show was supposed to start at 8 pm @jasminesandlas you came at 11:20 with no acknowledgement or apology at all ?? THREE HOURS LATE !!! And then you come and lip sync, literally what, on a live show??? Then leave abruptly at end, without any thank you, sorry or anything at all.”
Another user lamented, “Terrible experience! We waited from 8 to 11.30 and then left since we had a long way to travel back. There was no intimation about the delay. The managerial staff is the worst, with the rudest attitude. People should be warned about how Quake events are scams of the worst kind.”
Additional comments criticized the event's management, with one stating, “Horrible Event..... She literally just disappeared.... + The management by QUAKE ... The worst of them all... Food service with extra cover charges.. just minting money for absolutely nothing.... I've been to club concerts before but this was hands down... The worst of them all.. PERIOD.”
Organizers Under Fire for Poor Coordination
The backlash extended beyond the artist to the event organizers, who faced accusations of mismanagement and inadequate communication. Users described the evening as a “super flop show” and noted, “@quakearenahyd Very disappointing experience. The event started post 11pm instead of the communicated 8 PM.”
Some highlighted the lack of transparency, with one comment reading, “That’s just plain disrespect for the fans who showed up and paid for the event. The worst part is the artist did not even apologise for being more than 3hrs late.”
Jasmine's Career Journey and Bollywood Debut
Before the controversy, Jasmine Sandlas had already made a mark in the music industry. Born in Jalandhar, she was raised in California and began her career with the song “Muskan” in 2008. Her collaboration with Bohemia on the album “Gulabi” further established her presence in the industry.
Jasmine's breakthrough came through her debut in Bollywood with Salman Khan’s film Kick, where her song “Yaar Na Miley” became a massive hit. She continued to deliver chart-topping tracks, including “Illegal Weapon 2.0” in Street Dancer 3D, “Taras Ni Aya Tujhko” in Munja, and “Nasha” in Raid 2. Her recent work on Aditya Dhar and Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar has also been well-received, with the title track and item song “Shararat” garnering immense fan appreciation.
Despite her successes, the Hyderabad show has sparked a wave of criticism, with fans questioning her professionalism and the event's organization. Jasmine has yet to respond to the growing discontent.
