Samajwadi Party has a history of insulting seers, alleges deputy CM Maurya
Deputy CM Maurya Criticizes Samajwadi Party's Attitude Toward Seers
Samajwadi Party has a history of insulting - During a media interaction in Agra at Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya accused the Samajwadi Party of inconsistent behavior regarding spiritual figures. He claimed the party has a track record of disrespecting seers when in power but turns to them for blessings when out of favor, calling these actions "drama."
"While governing, the Samajwadi Party used force against seers and targeted Ram devotees in Ayodhya. Now, when they're not in control, their leaders kneel before these spiritual leaders. This is mere nautanki," Maurya stated.
Maurya emphasized his collaboration with the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and active role in the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, asserting that he and the public are well aware of the party's past actions. "They can't fool the people anymore with their double standards," he added.
Modi's Electoral Milestone Sparks Remarks
Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's achievement of becoming India's longest-serving democratically elected leader, Maurya expressed his congratulations. He highlighted Modi's leadership as a catalyst for national progress and noted the BJP's intent to contest future elections under his guidance.
"The people's support and spiritual blessings have enabled Modi to set a new record. The country is advancing under his rule and will continue its journey toward development," Maurya said.
Additionally, the deputy chief minister praised the media's role in upholding democratic values. He reiterated the government's commitment to fostering a robust media environment. The session concluded with a meeting held at the Agra circuit house.
