America’s favorite fast-food chain revealed: Jersey Mike’s dethrones Chick-fil-A in 2026 rankings
America’s Favorite Fast-Food Chain Shifts: Jersey Mike’s Claims Top Spot in 2026 Rankings
America s favorite fast food chain – Chick-fil-A has lost its title as America’s top chicken fast-food chain in a recent customer satisfaction survey, with Jersey Mike’s emerging as the new leader. The 2026 rankings mark the first time in over a decade that a new brand has surpassed Chick-fil-A, which previously held the number one position in 2025.
According to the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), Jersey Mike’s achieved a score of 84 out of 100, narrowly edging out Chick-fil-A’s 83. The survey, which gathered input from 16,464 participants, was conducted via email between April 2025 and March 2026. The ACSI noted that Jersey Mike’s success stems from its streamlined approach to customer service and operational efficiency.
“Jersey Mike’s has established itself as a ‘new leader among QSRs’ with its consistent performance,” stated the ACSI in its analysis.
The fast-food chain’s rise is attributed to a combination of factors, including its straightforward menu offerings, a franchise model that fosters growth, and the integration of digital ordering systems. These elements have driven increased customer demand and rapid expansion, solidifying its position in the top tier of quick-service restaurants.
Other notable entries in the ranking include Jimmy John’s and Panda Express, both scoring 81. KFC, Papa Johns, and Pizza Hut followed with 80, while Domino’s, Raising Cane’s, Starbucks, and Subway scored 79. Burger King, Culver’s, Dunkin’, Little Caesars, and Panera Bread rounded out the list with 78, placing them just above Dairy Queen and McDonald’s, which tied at 72.
