Pawan Kalyan Condemns Divisive Tactics of Cockroach Janata Party

After Prakash Raj supports Cockroach Janata – Political tensions have intensified as actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan took aim at the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) following its nationwide protests linked to the NEET paper leak controversy. The incident sparked debates about academic integrity, and Kalyan’s recent remarks at a Jana Sena Party (JSP) gathering in Delhi highlighted his concerns over the party’s approach.

During the meeting, held at a prestigious hotel, Kalyan addressed his supporters and singled out the CJP as a force driven by “small minds” seeking to undermine national unity. He remarked,

“You must have heard of the cockroaches recently. It reminded me of the Sumathi Satakam (Telugu moral book). Even a tiny creature or an ant can kill a powerful snake.”

This analogy underscored his belief that individuals with limited political insight could jeopardize the country’s stability.

Expanding on his critique, Kalyan warned,

“People with small thoughts will exploit divisiveness to weaken the nation’s integrity. Even when millions gather, be it for good or bad, their influence can be significant. We must resist such narratives.”

He also shared a personal anecdote about discussing the CJP with his son, Akira Nandan, noting that “only three of his friends have subscribed to the party.” The conversation emphasized the party’s growing but niche appeal.

Prakash Raj’s Support for CJP Sparks Reactions

Prakash Raj, a prominent figure in Telugu cinema, joined the CJP’s cause after attending a protest in Bengaluru. His endorsement came amid ongoing discussions about the NEET leak, which has become a rallying point for the party. Kalyan, however, took to public platforms to challenge the CJP’s strategy, calling it a threat to national cohesion.

Earlier, Prakash had been outspoken on social media since the CJP’s formation. He attended a protest alongside activist Sonam Wangchuk and founder Abhijeet Dipke, criticizing leaders for altering the political landscape. “The elected leaders should do their jobs! Why have you changed the equation?” he asserted. “You are doing politics, we are supposed to do jobs. No!”

Kalyan also voiced his stance on youth leadership, stating,

“The youth of this country has decided to fight their own battles. They are Dalit, and the older generation—uncles and aunties—rules after retirement. Go away. We, the young, are fighting for our future.”

This sentiment reflects his emphasis on generational shifts in power dynamics.

Pawan’s Defiant Remarks and Political Backlash

Pawan’s remarks gained traction after he declared Telangana not his “ayya jagir” (father’s property), sparking criticism for withholding permission to hold a public meeting in the state. His stance led to backlash, with Prakash Raj responding on Twitter in Telugu:

“If you say you’re coming, would we say no? Do come, Sir… But before you do, are you coming on your own? Or with an alliance? Let us know before you arrive. #justasking.”

The tweet hinted at questions about Pawan’s political alliances.

The duo, known for their film collaborations such as Suswagatham (1998), Badri (2000), Jalsa (2008), Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu (2012), and Vakeel Saab (2021), has maintained a public rivalry despite their on-screen camaraderie. Their recent political clashes have added a new layer to their relationship.
